Hi folks,

Pretty sure I won't be attending on Sunday . Mrs Teflon is currently undergoing "preventative chemotherapy" and apart from all the usual associated side effects, has to avoid too much social contact as her immune system is very much reduced. She has given me full permission to attend without her, but to be honest, it just wouldn't feel right - I'm sure you understand.

Hope the weather is kind to you all, and see you at the next one

Cliff

Default Important Info For Sunday - Please Read

Along with Peter Morgan - Rover 75 Project Director, David Waide - Rover 75 Chief Engineer, Richard Woolley - Rover 75 Stylist and Denis Chick - Rover Group Product Communications Director, we now also have

Mike Kinnear - Rover 75 Programme Planner joining us on Sunday as well as Jeff Coope - Managing Director of The British Motor Museum who back in the day also organised one of the Pre-Production cars to be presented for the internal employee launch in Gaydon Engineering (G-Deck)

Itinerary
The Day begins at 10am, please park in the designated Rover 75 Club parking area, then come to the registration gazebo to collect your Gryphon Award voting slip to choose the best car in show later in the day. We will make a note of your car reg so we know who's car is the eventual winner, and also collect the £4 club fee from you to cover the costs of mounting the day. (Cash please as we do not have a card reader)

***This does not grant you access to the Museum building which is a separate payment that needs to be made directly to the Museum itself***

Then make your way to the Gaydon ticket window in the main building to pay the discounted museum entrance fee of £12 per person which will allow you access to the museum and it's facilities including café. (Remember to tell them you are part of the Rover 75 Club 25th Anniversary Meet) Once you have your entry ticket you will be able to come and go as you please inside the main building and grounds.

At 2pm on Sunday we will hold the 'Meet the Rover Royalty' session inside in meeting room 'South Wing 5' that is also where they will have the last production 75 on display, this room is available to us all day so you can go and see the car any time.

There will be opportunity for you to ask the ex Rover key staff questions and meet and greet them, and we will announce the winner of the Gryphon Award in the meeting room.

The day doesn't finish officially until 5pm so feel free to stay as long as you like. It will be great to see so many owners cars in one place as they are getting rarer and rarer these days, as well as putting faces to names.

The club shop will have Stickers, Key Fobs, Grille Badges, Mugs, Decals, Pens, Membership Packs and a very limited number of 2024 Club Calendars for sale at the discounted price of just £5, but be quick as its first come first served on the single figure calendars we have left.

See you there
