Don't ignore the exhaust though, as per Greeners' suggestion. Very common to have a rattling shield . If you can get underneath, give everything a thump with your fist , including the cat !

Its very tight under a ZT and i'm slim! But thanks will check it out.

I've looked with a torch and the damper thing looks tired

Simples... love it ;-)

I have slight raddle and vibration at idle from mine and then when pulling of a judder from the engine its not stalling at all and the clutch was replaced few months ago.

Does this sound like a similar issue?

I love these cars because they seem to have the same troubles, at just about the same mileage and exactly the same symptoms, making it a hell of a lot easier to sort everything out. Many other makes, so I believe, are more mysterious. I changed mine few weeks ago, and wow, feels like a completely different car.
