I found the same, when driving locally around town and the local dual carriageways I was always getting the low 20's. Long runs on motorways got it to the late 20's at best. Thought it may be due to the gearing on the 190 as it revs higher than the 160.

I still found it a bit better on fuel than my v6 auto. If stuck in stop start traffic I could see the fuel gauge moving down.

Around 300 miles a tank at best in both of them.

Was the reason why I went back to a diesel. If the fuel consumption wasn't so heavy then I would have kept that tourer, miss the power of that one, had so much overtaking power.
