Looking good!

I'm currently in the process of doing the same on my ZT been a few weekends of trial and error to try and get a close match to my seats which seem to be darker than most blue alcantaras i've seen. Just put 1 door card back together today

Looks good.
I've considered doing mine red to match my red alcantara seats.
What material did you use if you don't mind me asking.

Cheers had been looking for a set of OEM blue door cards for a while but just found that they dont match the shade of the seats very well. So used your idea of spraying them. The one i've done so far has come out a little patchy probably because i've sprayed it like 7 times in different shades of blue before i got the right colour. If the other 3 come out better I might redo the driver's one.

Where will you be putting blue into the leather? On the door cards or do you have full leather seats?

I have full black leather; looking to put a coloured panel in the middle

Think I have a spare front door card from a ZT ? will check the side

This time I used Ford Royal blue as its a fair match for a polyurethane leather colourant I am looking at an goes OK with the Typhoon

its a spare passenger ZT door car I have; the drivers one is off a 75 with a light insert; the insert colour makes a fair difference to what you end up with

saying that you have them on your car DOH!!!

wow full leather seats with blue centres would look impressive! wouldn't mind having that myself, surprised it wasn't an original option since you can get other two tone full leather seats.

Aha yeah I'll use the door card I currently have on the ZT but thanks anyway

I tried Ford matisse blue then Ford Royal Blue and Peugeot Royal Blue which were all too light and then tried Ford Ontario and Ford Midnight Blue which are pretty close to my seats

Look forward to seeing your seats once done

This one is a summer job as I will need the seats out!! Yes the idea is to make something like the two tone leather but with navy blue rather than cream as the central feature. I have all the stuff but need a week of sun and allot of tea; so am guessing its going to be June!!

Might be worth seeing if someone has a spare set of seats you can borrow whilst yours are out if needed I've just bought a can of typhoon to do a few touch ups and might spray the engine cover with whats left over
