I may well contact him to see if he can supply a pot of Moonshine paint to help bring my car back to showroom condition. £250 a litre is certainly less scary than the prices that have floated about before |

I know what you're saying about looking for a deal, but I think you would have to be very lucky to find it cheaper than £250 a litre, it's certainly the cheapest I've ever heard of |

Have you tried AutoPaint, in St Helens, Lancs. They were very good with Ford Probe 'flip' colours.

£250 a litre is great, cheapest I've ever heard of. I need to get hold of some typhoon maybe some point this year or next year as I want to fit some X Power Side Skirts to mine. Does anyone know any body shops which are good at matching up monogram pains? As I want to get a bumper re-sprayed but need the paint to match up If any other Typhoon owners are looking at buying some paint maybe we should do a bulk buy in the near future in order to try get some sort of large order discount? I used the acrylic based one, no idea why, probably because it was cheaper

Oil based paints are being phased out apparently, and all being replaced by water/acrylic based alternatives, but as you say, water based solutions can be more expensive when 'complex' colours are involved.

I really hope this turns out to be good paint, as Bittersweet is up there with the most expensive stuff, fingers crossed.
