What a fantastic occasion to make my dream come true to visit The Tulipsland!
Found a camping in ~600 meters from the museum. Any fans out there? So - this trip is possible on 75`s wheels and ~4200km with return.

Hi Ian. You give a possible second option for travel:- using the shuttle to Calais? If you used that option, can I suggest that instead of using a hotel in England, you could do an afternoon shuttle to Calais, and book the Ibis hotel, Coquelles Tunnel Sous Le Manch. We always use this hotel when we tour the continent, and I can recommend it. It is five minutes from the shuttle. You get off the shuttle and take the road to the right after about 400 yards, signposted SiteEurope. Follow the road upto an island. Go round the island until you see a sign for SiteEurope to the right, and 400 yards down European boulevard, you come to another island, and the ibis is on your right. There are two other hotels there, The Suite Hotel, (dearest), The ibis budget(cheapest) basic, and the Ibis. There is loads of parking inside the hotel grounds, with gated access. You can have a meal there, but we always go over the road to site Europe where there are plenty of restaurants to suite all tastes, even a cinema if you can understand French. There is a petrol, diesel station just 50 yards up the road, probably the cheapest in France, cash or card.We have stopped their for around 25 years, and if ‘our’ manager is there, we get free tea. The breakfast is also quite good, around 9 euro, help yourself to as much as you want.We are going ourselves later, if you would like me to ask a few questions for you, i will do my best. Just let me know.
