I need to replace the driver's side rear door on my dad's 75. I managed to finally source a replacement PBT door after struggling to find one, but the one I've found is from a ZT so has the colour coded waist trim. How does the waist trim come off? From what I've read before it sounds like the clips usually break? Am I better off just using some paint stripper and taking the paint off the waist trim already on the door to take it back to chrome?
