Default NEW IPK colour change LEDs!

After weeks and weeks of trying to find the correct bi-colour replacement LEDs for our IPK screens, I have finally been able to source them! I can now convert the IPK screen colour to Blue, Green, Yellow and White (note that only the text shows up white when using white LEDs due to the screen having a blue tint).

Done a blue one yesterday

Default Re IPK

Hi Rick,
A big thank you for the virginised IPK with message centre. Had it installed today and it works a dream. I can now see the MPG of my V6! Amongst the other info I've missed on my Zt.
Headlights next on the list!

Hi Rick,
Just had a new old stock IPK installed in the car and the lighting is White, and I’m sure my old IPK was blue! Am I correct that facelift MG’s had blue lighting for the dials? My clock is certainly blue! Looks a bit odd at the moment.
Can you change the lighting to blue?
Thanks to one of your posts I’ve managed to enable the digital speedo using TOAF. Also had a play with Phil T4 program and that’s very easy to use. Thanks for the guidance 👍

Hi John,

sorry just seen your comment above. Yes the mki ZT clusters had white backlighting and the mkii clusters had blue backlighting.

and yes I can convert the LEDs to the factory blue colour for you to match the dash clock

You're welcome

Thanks Rick,
The car is SORN at the moment so probably a good time to get it done. I’ll have another look at your site as I might give the IPK a facelift!

Hi Rick

Once the Christmas and New Year is over and the post is back to normal, would it be okay to send my IPK to you to have the lights changed to blue. I bought a ‘new old stock IPK ‘ and it was for a MK 1 ZT not the facelift so the the lights are white☹️

I did email you a while ago about this but events have caused some distractions etc......

Hope all is well with you.
Cheers,
John
