I have R9 UER. I wouldn't dream of having R9UER, not primarily because it's against the prescribed spacing reg's but mainly because it just looks like you are trying far too hard.
And as for using resized/mutilated digits or black boltheads to form part of the 'legend'? Give me strength.

The police don't seem to enforce the regulations around here , I see plenty with dodgy spacing , non standard fonts , they must all be "show" plates ?

Since we're talking about it. What's the deal with pressed metal plates. The embossed type? I've always liked them but can never find a straight answer as to whether they are road legal.
