if you look right under the back you will see each side the wire frame locates under a metal lug.i use a cut down broom handle to push them from under the lugs

have a look here http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...read.php?t=175

The metal frame of the seat base is hooked in at the back. Once you have the front unclipped, you have to push the rear of the seat base down and then back to unhook it. I had to lift the front of the seat base up and use a bar to unhook the rear of the seat base on mine.

sorted it....i used a 24" pry bar to unlatch it.
i had to get it out as the sound proofing under the seat and the seat foam were sodden with water,i had to cut away the sound proofing to get all the water out and it was all crumbling away,it's been cut out in a neat way so i'l go to the scrappers and get a piece from a dry car (if one excists ) to replace it.
then sucked out most of the water with my wet vac and put an electric blow air heater in the car all day in the worst part (behind driver's seat) to dry it out best i can,it's been in 8hrs and is neally bone dry now
just a couple of hours tommorow in the boot area and should be good to go,i'v replaced the wooden support section under the boot carpet with new 6mm mdf as the old was badly warped and mouldy and glued if on to the carpet and will go back in when i'm satisfied all the moisture has gone
