Default 1.8T Contemporary With Premium Front Bumper - Potential project?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-...gAAOSwU1hbhTgI

Auction is for the bonnet, however it also states the car is spares or repair. Does the overheating issue mean the car is dead, or can it be saved?

It always baffles me as to why people are reluctant to sell the whole car , ok , so you might be able to sell some bits but more often than not you'll be left with the shell , which is a pain to get rid of , sell the car as is and it's someone else's problem !

Our cars appear to be more valuable when broken down as spare parts.

How much would a car in this condition be worth?
In the region of £2000? I would not be surprised if that figure is exceeded if he can sell all the goodies.

I’ve never had a problem getting rid of part stripped cars, there are still companies who will take them away for free.

Thank you for putting up the link

I've been to see this today and had the bonnet and the side skirts, there really isn't a lot left tbh!
Front suspension , new lower arms (front) and odds and ends.
Most of its been sold to the same person lol
Major engine trouble and over-boost issues made it uneconomic to repair

They wanted to protect the grille Brian, could have at least painted them though, disappointing
