assuming its for a diesel and that you've checked that you have the wiring in place, here's the guide to retrofitting cruise control:http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/ztt/cruise_control/

Hi Rick, yes it's a diesel auto - so no clutch switch to worry about. I have found the plug for the dash switch (the one below the climate control panel) so hopefully the rest of the wiring is there too.

Now just need to take a brave pill to start dismantling the interior.

If you've got the plug for the dash switch then the rest will undoubtedly be there.
It's an easy job to do, cutting the steering wheel for the switches is probably the hardest bit.
Remember, you'll also need a T4 session to get full functionality.

Default Retrofit cruise control

Hi, I bought and fitted a cruise control kit, ECU, master switch and steering wheel loom. I found all the plugs and the job of fitting was quite easy, I was proud of my work. My problem is it doesn't work. Master switch lights up but I can't get any response from the switches. I did have a remap so wonder if that would have affected the codes but I welcome any ideas, please.

More than likely it's simply the switches on the clutch and brake pedal. They will want pushing down into contact position. Mine was the same.

Hi Paul

The next nano meet is in May at the Four Ashes (Penkridge) if your free pop up and someone will help with the switches and possibly the T4 coding if the operator is available

Follow the link and have a look http://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/

If you haven't had the cruise control option enabled on the t4, the cruise control won't quite work as it should. From memory, if you haven't had it enabled, to get it working you have to switch on the master switch on the centre console, then pres the res button on the steering controls (which from memory I think is when the yellow cruise control symbol lights up on the dash), and then you have to press the set + button on the steering wheel controls to set the cruise control speed.

If that doesn't work then it's likely the clutch or brake pedal switch has popped out which prevents the cruise control from working
