Default Ducks on a pond

After the storms of today I wandered down to a boating lake near me.

Taking inspiration from Pauls brilliant bird photos I had a little go at it myself

I've taken the liberty of following you on Flickr Paul

By the way, not knowing anything about birds unlike yourself, what is the little one I took ?

I worked out the big ones were ducks and swans

I believe that is a female blackbird. I know a bit about birds but am by no means an expert.

I had about 200 followers and a hundred thousand views (or more, cannot remember) before I lost my account. Not that it matters, It does not mean a lot. You can get lots of views by pushing pics under peoples noses.

I sometimes put pics into groups to see if people vote for them. It is a way of gauging if others like your pics. I have learnt that a poor picture of a cute puppy will get more votes than an expert shot of a fly.

Cheers for that,

Not much of a 'Twitcher' me but I had fun taking those.
Birds in flight will be another challenge altogether I guess

I've learnt at camera club that even the official judges at competitions are suckers for cute
