Hello Pot, I must be kettle in that case. Your post would have offered a better contribution without its first paragraph..... I'm not going to contribute to this thread any longer.

Default retrofitting cruise control to a Rover 75

I have looked at the thread on retrofitting cruise control but they all seem to relate to the diesel version. I have a 2004 75 1.8SE Connoisseur automatic (petrol) and wondered if it can be retrofitted? I would appreciate any help. It does have heated seats as I gather this is important.

Cruise was never a factory option on the 1.8 models, so it's not as straight forward as retrofitting it to a diesel.

There's a thread here on a aftermarket kit Christopher fitted to his 1.8 https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=22631

Also rich17865 retrofitted a aftermarket kit which worked with the factory master switch and steering wheel controls, however I can't find the thread he posted on this years ago.

I believe the 1.8 MG6's were fitted with cruise... maybe it might be possible to retrofit it using parts from one of those, not sure if anyone's ever looked into that.
