Default LED rear lights failure

Just wonder of there is an easy fix or I need to start digging.
My V8 has been in dry dock for 18 months since the boot leak was fixed.
Nearly ready to see the light of day again and the garage have informed me that the rear LED lights are not working. They were last June when the car passed MOT. These were bought from radioguy 7 years ago, note that he is "banned" may be I missed something over the years and they are poor quality or the water ingress took its toll?
I have the spare PCB "rings" but that is not the issue I'm told.
When the garage connect a standard lens/cluster all is fine with wiring.
Do I need to start again? Scrap the LED from Radioguy buy new replacement units? I think they are circa £300 so just wonder if anyone else has had any issues?
Apparently the rear brake lights work, however, all the rest is dead!
Any comments welcome before I go shopping.

Rick Bhullar mentioned by Bob is probably your best bet, his screen name is Rick-sta and can be contacted here.

Radioguy "disappeared" owing a lot of people over several forums refunds for non delivery of goods they had ordered and paid for.

Thanks for the mention both but unfortunately I don't work on the mg7 tail lights, although do have them on both of my ZTs.

LEDs dropping out on the ring in each tail light is the only thing that can really fail on the MG7 tail lights. I've never had this happen on any of the sets I've owned personally but have heard of it happening. Replacing the ring would solve that issue.

I would start with cleaning up the earth's and the plug connectors the tail lights. If none of the lights are working apart from the brake lights that sounds like either a connection issue (possibly corroded connectors due to your previous boot leak), or corroded earth's in the boot for the lights, or possibly a LSM issue.
