Speedo not working

Hi Guys, this has been ongoing for 6 months because of restrictions, my 75 connie tourer(diesal 2.0 tcdi), so ABS unit connector corroded because of leaky battery , because of water in ECU overcharging the battery, so new ABS unit fitted, (also new battery),ABS wiring harnes spliced in, brand new abs sensors on front wheels, but speedo not working, fully checked by the chap here in west yorkshire with Testbook unit, no issues with the sensors, no issues with the speedo, ABS unit paired to the car with testbook,it passed all the tests with testbook, no lights on the dash, so all self tests done ok, but no speedo, MOT in 4 weeks, any ideas, apart from stripping the down where the ABS wiring was spliced, no one seems to have a clue. All work carried out by a mechanic,not by me !.
