Default spray adhesive to sort out sagging headlining and door cards

Can anyone recommend a good spray adhesive to sort out a sagging headlining and door cards? The summer heat this year has taken quite a toll on our 75's interior. Cheers

ive done a few of these head linings and door panels.
Secret is to get all the old orange crumbly old glue and foam off the panels, messy job.
Find a good hi temp spray glue . Motor trimmers sontimes stock good stuff or upholstery suppliers.

As said, all the old glue needs to come off of the base boards.

Trying to re-glue it in place without getting the old glue off first is a waste of time.

You'll be lucky if you can re-use the headlining etc too!

This happened on my ZR. I ended up redoing it. It sags not because the glue has come unstuck but because the foam between the glue and cloth has dissintegrated into powder. Regluing it will look horrible and lumpy.

Pete.

I just had my headliner replaced professionally on my Jaguar at Stanley Trimmers of Wells Somerset. Cost £350, I had been quoted upwards of £500 by a company in Kent.

They did a marvellous job and the car was returned spotlessly clean

I tried spray glue on some door cards and the a pillars. Just made a mess.

I then re-did the a pillars with a thin line of strong doubles sided tape and just stretched the fabric. Holds way better than the glue. Still a bodge though.

I wonder if some self-adhesive felt would be better?
