Looks utterly fantastic, Rick. At some point, I have to bite the bullet and get the Spectre resprayed, which I know is going to cost a fortune but I've committed myself to returning it to showroom condition at some point. I'm interested in where you got the paint and the problems you had finding it. Maybe I need to start stockpiling the paint now? I had the Primrose Yellow one resprayed in 2015 but I won't get those rates again! James

PPG was the original supplier of this type of paint, but as Rick will attest, others will closely replicate the finish. It should be noted that PPG operate some strange "closed" colour codes, PPG 73219 is the code for the red paint used on my tool box, but you cannot get it mixed, and the formulation will not be released. It's amazing what can be achieved when you rely on others to help out, isn't it?, still hopefully the person who painted this can rectify the problems in the paint finish when Rick returns the car. He doesn't take criticism well, however in this instance it is entirely justified. Of course this shouldn't have happened in the first instance, given the length of time that the painter had the car, and certainly for the money that he charged Rick, the preparation and finish should have been perfect the first time around.
