Flicker

Hi guys

I noticed this morning that the illuminated lights on my IPK are flickering. also, the lights on my air con unit are doing the same. Any ideas why it's doing this ? Thanks. Ravinder

Might be the LSM. are all of the interior dash lights flickering?

Yes, but it's a very faint flicker. It stopped doing it a few minutes later and haven't noticed it since...but if it's happened once, it will do it again. Just a matter of time. What's the LSM?

The LSM is the light switch module. Or the other thing it could be is I think if the regulator is on it's way out on the alternator i think it causes the dash lights to flicker/fluctuate in brightness.

That's the only two things I can think of that could possibly be causing it.

Same happened with a Lincoln Towncar I owned. Alternator. New guts, problem solved.

Thanks. Yes, all the interior lights were flickerng. On the IPK and the climate control display. Not sure about the interior courtesy light as I didn't check this. If it's the alternator, would the battery light not come on? It hasn't done so yet...
