Walnut & Sandstone Steering Wheel
This is an early Walnut wheel with 1998 date stamped cabling with unusual all yellow wires. Frame is stamped 1999 & early 2000, so a much better quality and fit than the later ones. Comes with Cruise control buttons.
The leather parts have been re-dyed from a worn state and so have somewhat lost their leather pattern but they have come up well. The areas between the wood and the leather could do with a little tidy up from the dyeing. The wood is mostly in good condition, some marks and indentations, the worst of which I tried to photograph. It must be said that as Walnut wheels go, it isn't perfect but it is an early one so therefore priced at £115 which includes delivery. Daylight photos to follow. A bargain price, and fantastic walnut!
If I am not mistaken the walnut is better on the earlier models than the later ones before the dash was changed to plastic. Someone will snap this up! |
