Default motorised sun blind

Is there a seperate wiring harness that needs to be fitted when installing one of these sun blinds , or are the wires a part of the loom

They are usually part of the loom, under the parcel shelf you are looking for orange/orange & black wires with a black connector, not sure what the colours are at the dash end.

best way to check is to look behind the centre consol in the dash. I think it's a green connector if I remember correctly for the rear powerblind.

if you haven't got the wiring in place, I've read before that it isnt hard to make the loom yourself. Alternatively there is a option of fitting a manual blind however these are hard to find.

The green plug in the image below is the one for rear power blind i believe. Should be wrapped in foam.

As Rick-sta says it's the green one at the console end (3rd from left in his photo) and it'll be tucked up the passenger side inside the console at the back wrapped in foam if it's there. Was on mine (a 2003) but not on John H's (a 2002 I believe) so a bit of a lottery: just think lucky thoughts.

the both orange go to motor, black is minus.
So the Red/White and Green/Red is (+) or Illumination Wire for button.

I was dissapointed as these wires are absent on my 75. I still have the rear electric sunblind awaiting fitting but my electrical knowhow is poo. I have fitted a manual sunblind while i await the relevant wiring to appear by magic
